The Seattle Nichiren Buddhist Church belongs to the Nichiren Shu lineage of Buddhism. We follow the teachings of the Eternal Shakyamuni Buddha as set forth in the Lotus Sutra and the teachings of our founder Nichiren Shonin. |

Pictures of Daikoku's visit and our New Year activities have been added to the website. The calendar has been updated to include February's schedule. Beginning in February, shodaigyo will be offered the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month instead of Thursday evenings. There will be classes on the 2nd Saturday of each month and a repentance ceremony on the 4th Saturday of the month. If you are interested, please contact Rev Cederman. We have added a new page to this website called Omamori. This page contains a description of the types of omamori (amulets) and ceremonies that are available at the church. |
